circa 1880, with straight 32in. blade, twin narrow blind fullers, the first three fifths etched with scrolls and the regimental device of the 93rd Highlanders (Sutherland Regt), makers name and address at forte with inlet proofmark to reverse, pierced steel basket with bun pommel (possibly dismountable) and wire-bound sharkskin grip, complete with its iron scabbard with ball chape
